Alison Saunders, Director of Public Prosecutions, and the show trials of men in the UK

Whilst looking through the AVfM library of my pieces during my search for the article HuffPo wouldn’t publish (last post) in January 2014, I noticed a piece from March 2014 on Alison Saunders, Director of Public Prosecutions, and the show trials of men in the UK.

Those show trials have become ever more numerous and absurd under Alison Saunders’s control of the organisation – charging Mark Pearson, 51, with sexual assault of a 60-something actress walking in the opposite direction at Waterloo station was one of the latest – and the article may help explain why.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
