Wendy Willson, 62, jailed for six months for her false rape allegation

Our thanks to B for this. At last, a custodial sentence, even if it’s too light. Most women who ruin men’s lives with false rape allegations aren’t prosecuted. From the article:

In total, 76 officers worked on the enquiry between December 2013 and May 2014 at an approximate cost of £70,000. Despite later pleading guilty to the offences, Willson never offered an explanation in police interview for making the false allegations.

She should also have been fined the cost of the police enquiry.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

One is bound to suspect this sentence is more to do with money and work the investigation cost rather than any sense of justice – that’s what upset them so.

  3. kp162 says:

What were they doing for 5 months? Searching for any evidence to convict a man 2 men?
If she’d not made the insurance claim would they all be looking?

  4. Paul Jackson says:

If she had claimed that she was sexually assaulted by a blind man, it might have been more credible.

  5. epistemol says:

I think Paul had a very fair point though if I may say so…I suspect an element of sexual fantasy here.
That would explain why she had offered no reason as well.
