Laura Perrins slays Jane Garvey, presenter, and three other feminists on Woman Sour

Our thanks to Kevin for capturing this (audio, 22:33), broadcast this morning. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a piece on Woman Sour so much – several tips of the hat to Laura Perrins of The Conservative Woman website.

I’ve posted a short commentary under the file.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  1. Paul Jackson says:

Jane Garvey was continually trying to shut Laura down but to no avail. Outnumbered 4 to 1 Laura still gave them a drubbing. What a brilliant woman!
I particularly enjoyed the bit where she said that Woman’s Hour would have buried the research that found that only 7% of British women identified as feminists. Garvey made a noise that sounded like she’s been punched in the stomach.

    • Paul Jackson says:

Actually small correction the Fawcett research found that 9% of women and 4% of men identified as feminists or 7% overall (rounding up!).
They try to spin this on their website by saying that we are a nation of ‘hidden’ feminists.
      Yeah, right!
