Self-criticism could be the biggest barrier to women’s success at work

Our thanks to Chloe for this nonsense on the CIPD website, an opinion piece from the aptly named Geoff Trickey. It starts:

New research provides evidence that women consistently rate their own performance lower than men do. Employers need to do more to tackle this damaging trend.

It’s amazing how many things employers ‘need’ to do to help women – with the help of self-interested people like Mr Trickey, needless to say. A gem of a sentence, from near the end:

It is clear that more needs to be done to address the gender imbalance at the top of organisations.

It’s not clear to anyone with an IQ above that of a dim-witted wombat, who knows of the evidence of a causal link between increasing female representation on corporate boards, and financial decline – here.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

On behalf of wombats everywhere, I must protest at the stereotypical suggestion that wombats are particularly likely to be dim witted.
It is this sort of continuous low level drip drip technique of casting nasturtiums on all and every occasion that does our speices no good at all.
As you see from my mugshot at the top of this comment, I myself have the honour to belong to that branch of evolution, so may I observe that digging holes in the ground in search of roots, rhizomes, tubers and worms is but a single one of the many acheivements of wombat-kind.
As for the oft repeated claim that the world is ruled by the powerful Wombatriarchy oppressing other opposite species to their detriment, this is just sheer unalloyed propaganda the like of which one can only hope will rebound onto them and their pernicious cause in the due course of time.
    I remain sir,
your honest commenter in the interests of the diaspora of pouched marsupikind the world over,

“women consistently rate their own performance lower…”.
Sounds like a mental condition. Maybe we should call it ‘Centralized Internal Patriarchy Disease’ Whereby sufferers, particularly in HR, have symptoms akin to paranoia.

everyone knows that on average, men are much more creative, enterprising and scientifically endowed than women. Well, women know it too, as the article suggests. But feminists can not come to terms with it, so everyone everywhere owes women a helping hand.
What an infantile attitude ! It can hardly count as adult thinking, actually. Witnessing news and articles like this one, I can hardly take women seriously anymore. Still, they must be held accountable for their actions, unless they declare themselves immature and unable to distinguish right from wrong and thus unable to hold office or positions of responsibility.
