Bloomberg: Milo Yiannopoulos is the Pretty, Monstrous Face of the Alt-Right

Our thanks to John for this. A lengthy, but fascinating, piece on Milo.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

He’s fast and very good, but I think the irony and double-downing is unhelpful. he just needs to keep it straight, factual and stop being childish. He may actually be fanning the flames of something really quite nasty. He needs to stop his followers and disassociate from the really unpleasant aspects of the alt right. The whole irony thing just means his presentation of facts is not being taken seriously – to be honest it could unravel unless he keeps it factual. There are better, more worthwhile, people than him, though he has some good points on the wage gap, how men are getting oppressed more now. We could have done with those arguments being made years ago by decent and fair people who didn’t want to play games.
