Vera Baird QC: Ched Evans rape case ‘sets us back 30 years’

Our thanks to Jeff for this. Vera Baird QC is a particularly odious hatchet-faced radical feminist, similar to Alison Saunders, Director of Public Prosecutions. In January Baird won our Toxic Feminist of the Month award, in February Saunders won it.

The jury in Ched Evans’s appeal (most of whom were women) heard from men who testified that not long before the encounter with Ched Evans, and not long after, the woman had enjoyed sex with them, whilst drunk. Had this information been available at the first trial, it’s likely Ched Evans would not have been convicted. At the appeal, the jury reached a unanimous verdict.

Given that the driving force for women such as Baird and Saunders is to see men convicted of rape, whatever it takes, we shouldn’t be surprised to learn that Baird would have liked to see Evans convicted for a second time. These women have no sense of justice when it comes to men, who are innocent until proven guilty… except juries keep acquitting innocent men, which explains why Julie Bindel is pressing for an end to juries in rape trials.

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  1. Al Liance says:

The judge directed the jury to consider the question “did she consent at the time to penis/vagina sex or not?” Two independent witnesses had almost identical enthusiastic consensual sex acts with the woman on different occasions. She also had memory loss the following day, as in the incident with Ched. This was accepted by the jury that Ched’s consistent version (that he reasonably believed he had consent) was proven beyond reasonable doubt by the two independent witnesses. Therefore no rape had been committed and Ched was found not guilty. Justice has been done – but at a considerable price. What about those innocent men who are in jail, and whose lives have been ruined, Those men who do not have Ched Evan’s very considerable support and resources to prove their innocence in the face of the determination from my Prime Minister down, to force the police to prosecute and incarcerate men for rape whether innocent or not? Justice for Ched – yes! But is this a civilised society?

Sounds exactly like a guilty until proven innocent trial!

The eventual aim here of course is that ‘guilt’ be ‘established’
by mere accusation and nothing more.

    What a weapon!

    What a loaded gun!

    What power!

    Any man ruined at whim.

And there may be no need to actually use it – not straight away at least – the threat would be enough.
What drives such hatred you may reasonably wonder?
Well it’s our old friend the three ‘R’ s again.

    RAGE

    REVENGE

    and especially,

    RESENTMENT

Very human weaknesses that may prey upon anyone’s mind, have been identified as a particularly powerful weapon, and employed by those with an agenda.

This is the blatant fraud of ‘equality’ – here meaning ‘the same’.
Men and women are not the same and never will be, no matter how much some may wish it.
Millions of years of evolution have selected for that because it is the best survival model, that’s all natural selection cares about.

    Is that difficult to understand?
    Intellectually I think not.
Thus the tool to use against rational fact is manipulated EMOTION, something that not both sexes are equally prone to.

Ultimately it will will fail because it is corrupt and rotten at it’s festering core, and thus will collapse in upon itself, as all putrid things must.

The only question being, how long will it be, and how much damage and how many ruined and suffering lives will it take?

    P.S.
‘Vera Baird’ has here been accidentally misspelled.

‘Very Bad’ is, of course, the correct notation.
